THE DAWN
-Reenie

Sometimes the dawn comes
Not as that brilliant flash of light
Flung out across the vast ethereal
            rose-tinged sea.

Sometimes it creeps up upon you,
Unannounced ...
Hidden among grey-leaden clouds
As the darkness slowly yields herself
To definitive depths.

Sometimes, in our search for the dawn,
Expecting the brilliance and sparks,
We fail to recognize its arrival
As we, blind to its subtle beauty
Penetrating the darkest corners of our
Self-made illusions,
We continue our searching
Even in the midst of the
All-embracing light.

INERTIA
-Reenie

Inconspicuous movement
Nudging everything in a seemingly
Eternal
Restful state
Towards
Inconceivable transformation:
Alchemy of the Soul made manifest.

SUNSET HAIKU
-Reenie

Fading celestial palette
A lone gull takes wing
Sickle Moon smiles through veiled skies.

MOONLIT TRILOGY
-Reenie

I. Liquid Luminosity
Celestial silver light
Sighing silent secrets to
Slumbering silhouettes
upon the Sea.

II. Golden Gateway across the jet black sea
Luminescence of shimmering stardust
Floating in mid-air a glowing beacon
Softly whispers of forgotten pathways
to the heart....

III. A glistening drop of essence
The release of the iridescent genie
We are drawn to the Mystique
Of each other's Magic
Mirrors of Condensity.....
