!! IRELAND ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO VOTE YES TO THE LISBON TREATY AND TIE US TO SUCH OUTRAGEOUS AND ILLEGAL POLITICAL BEHAVIOUR
MARCH 22ND 2008
On Wednesday, EU diplomatic sources told Tanjug (Chinese news agency)
that Brussels and Washington have ordered the start of "the second wave of recognition" of the secession of Kosovo, with the aim of isolating Russia within the G8 and trying to surround Serbia as much as possible with
neighbors who recognize Kosovo.
Japan and Canada recognized Kosovo on Tuesday, while Serbia's three neighbors Bulgaria, Hungary and Croatia announced in a joint statement on Wednesday that they have decided to recognize Kosovo.
One of the key reasons for stepping up pressure on the five countries to recognize Kosovo as soon as possible should be viewed with the fact that the expected wave of recognition by Muslim states has not happened, after Turkey was defeated last week at a summit of the OrgaNization of Islamic States in Dakar, Senegal, when it failed to carry out Washington's instructions and force an avalanche of recognitions, the EU sources said.
They said that the message sent out by Brussels
and Washington to the "undecided" countries is clear: if the richest and the closest neighbors can do it, so can you.
HERE ARE , IN MY OPINION, THE MOST IMPORTANT MEDIA
ANNOUNCEMENTS SUBSEQUENT TO THE "DECLARATION"
OF "KOSOVO'S" INDEPENDENCE,jb editor:
This is the single most
important observation made as collected from media
comments.
CHINA, NEWS REPORT:But what can be concluded with
certainty from the Kosovo case is all other measures
short of the military one that Serbia vowed to use to
prevent Kosovo from becoming independent did not work. If
there is one
single lesson that China can learn from the Kosovo case,
it is this.
This is the fact that EU and
USA are going to have to acknowledge: EDITH M.

UNITED NATIONS-Russia's U.N. ambassador has
called the European Union's planned mission in Kosovo
"illegal" and said the resolution authorizing
the United Nations to administer the Serb province in
1999 remains in force, and
the U.N. Mission will remain in Kosovo. EU leaders
agreed to send an 1,800-strong police and judiciary
mission to Kosovo to replace the U.N.
administrative mission following Kosovo's unilateral
declaration of independence on Feb. 17, and it is
preparing to deploy. But Ambassador Vitaly
Churkin on Thursday pointed to a statement on Feb. 17 from
Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon which disputes any EU
takeover. In the statement, Ban said that until
there is a new decision by the
Security Council, the U.N. Mission in Kosovo, known as
UNMIK, will consider Resolution 1244 adopted in 1999
"as the legal framework for its mandate and will
continue to implement its mandate in the light of the
evolving
circumstances." Churkin called Ban's statement
"very important" and noted that it was not contested
by anybody in the Security Council. He stressed
that the EU mission has not been mandated or authorized
by the Security Council, and said reports that it
is taking over from the U.N., and discussion of a
120-day transition, are "quite disturbing." "It
is disorienting to the international community and
population in Kosovo, because let me repeat, as the
secretary-general said, 1244 remains in force
and UNMIK stays there, until and unless the Security
Council takes a new decision on this matter .
THE
EU INFORMS THE UN ....! Ban's spokeswoman Michele Montas
denied the reports. The secretary general earlier said he
had been informed by the EU of the plans for the mission,
he had no objections, but said the UN Mission in Kosovo,
or UNMIK, would continue to operate under Resolution 1244
as thelegal framework for its mandate.
RUSSIA TODAY
March 1, 2008, 2:41 What's behind NATO intervention in
Kosovo?
Nine years after the end of NATO's bombardment of Serbia,
there are questions being asked about the real motives
for the deployment of the alliance's troops in Kosovo.
There are those who believe the reasons were anything but
humanitarian. NATO did everything it could to convince
the world that it went to war against the former
Yugoslavia to protect Kosovar Albanians from
extermination. But nine years later and the numbers of
bodies found still don't correlate with the claims. But
maybe to find the answer to the question why NATO came to
Kosovo you still have to dig deep underground?
"Kosovo possesses huge reserves of coal 15 billion
tonnes. We also have oil and fuel and mines with lead and
gold. We are one of the richest parts of south-east
Europe. But NATO didn't come here for this. They came
only to save us from the Serbs. Today we are going to
exploit our natural resources
and not allow the Serbs to continue doing it,"
Professor Rifat Blaku, Deputy Minister of Public Services
says.
However, the leader of the Serbs in Kosovo sees it
differently.
"The first reason why NATO came to Kosovo is because
we are wealthy with lead and zinc. The second reason,
which is also very important, is because Serbia has
always been a potential ally with Russia and NATO wants
Serbia to be a small country. This is why they are taking
fifteen percent of theSerbian territory by taking
Kosovo," Dr Marko Jaksic, President of theSerbian
Municipalities of Kosovo believes.
In the nine years since NATO took over the region from
Serbia they've deployed soldiers here from more than 25
countries, United Nations police, EU officials, clerks.
But the one thing they didn't bring is help for people to
put bread on the table.
IRISH (the Troubles will
come on us again as the significant push out of Paisley

Ahern said the entire Cabinet voted Thursday night to
accept the Kosovan parliament's Feb. 17 declaration of
independence from Serbia. "The reality is that the
legacy of the conflict of the late 1990s made the return
of Serb dominion in Kosovo unthinkable, and also
undermined the prospects for a long-sought
compromise," he said.And..hahaha
Ireland, which fought a successful 1919-21 war of

AND: Georgia's breakaway republic
of Abkhazia said on Thursday it would seek
recognition from Russia and the European Union. Last
week leaders of both Abkhazia and South Ossetia, which
saw bloody conflicts after they declared independence
from Georgia in 1991, said that Kosovo's independence,
should be taken into account as far as their sovereignty
is concerned. Russia has repeatedly said the
recognition of the Balkan region's independence will set
a precedent for other breakaway regions, including in the
former Soviet Union.(RUSS.Info Agency Novosti)
MACEDONIA/GREATER ALBANIA: President of the Historical
Prospects Foundation Dr. Natalya Narochnitskaya said. "Illegitimacy
always gives raise to dissident trends both in religion
and in politics. It (Kosovo - IF) will be a state that
claims for the territories of other countries in
compliance with the Great Albania doctrine. It's not a
secret," the historian said in her interview to the
Vesti TV channel.
"Why they (Europe and the USA - IF) pretend not to
see it? Don't they know that the Great Albanian idea aims
at adjoining 40% of Macedonia and
North-Western part of Greece and to make an Ohrid Lake an
internal sea of the Albanian nation? While Christian and
Orthodox shrines are located there, According to
Narochnitskaya, Albanian extremists initially aimed at
occupying a part of territory. "The most
dangerous kind of terrorism is the one aimed at
territorial changes. This terrorism isn't dangerous for
the States as the only thing global terrorism wants from
the States is non-interference in others business. But
this is exactly what threatens Russia and Europe,""EARTH

the 14th, 15th and16th centuries. They are under UNESCO
protection. But we know how insecure this protection is.
Monasteries set on fire, churches destroyed," the
Metropolitan said. "And if this world heritage
is demolished in the center of Europe in the 21st
century, then what's it all about? What criteria of
international policy and future European society can be
discussed, if greatest memorials would be

control this process in Kosovo."INTERFAX
JAKARTA POST (INDONESIA): LETTERS
Kosovo's independence
I strongly disagree with your editorial, "Another
nation is born", (Feb. 19) which advocates Kosovo's
illegal independence. Some of the first tests for
nationhood include: Treatment of minorities and respect
for law and meting of justice, respect for the property
of citizens, economic viability, UN recognition and can
the nation defend itself?
On all accounts, Kosovo fails miserably. For the past 60
years, Kosovo's non-Albanian residents have suffered
horribly from extremist Albanians and more than 150
Serbian Orthodox churches and monasteries have been
destroyed.
NATO, the self-proclaimed "peacekeeper" of the
Serbian province, has done next to nothing to prevent the
"Krystal nacht" endured by Serbs, gypsies and
other non-Albanians. The current leaders of Kosovo are
war criminals sought
by Serbia. The Serbian Orthodox Church owns much of
the land upon which Kosovo is situated. Thus far, there
has been no success in efforts to return this land
to its rightful owner. Thousands of Kosovo Serbian homes
have been torched. Kosovo has a roughly 50 percent
unemployment rate with the highest birthrate
in Europe and a thriving economy based on drug running
and the sex trade.
The UN will never recognize Kosovo as Russia realizes
that the primary efforts to steal Kosovo from Serbia
pertain to maintaining an indefinite NATO military
presence in the province (Camp Bondsteel) to act against
a resurgent Russia. Finally, the Kosovo Liberation
Army never succeeded against the Serbian army except when
it had NATO as its air force, mercilessly bombing
civilians in 1999 in NATO's vicious and illegal war
against the Serbian people. Kosovo will never survive as
an independent state without a foreign army
protecting it. The Post should seriously reconsider
its position on Kosovo as international law has now been
destroyed and terrorists the world over are beginning to
use the Kosovo precedent. The Serbian perspective of this
tragic story has not been told by the Western "free
and fair" media but needs to be understood before we
all continue down the spiral toward World War III.

Bush administration notified Serbia on Thursday it was
"absolutely opposed" to any attempt to
partition Kosovo so that the Serbian minority could have
its own homeland. "We will not support any
form of partition," Undersecretary of State Nicholas
Burns said at a news conference. And, he said, "the
great majority of countries would not stand for
that."
AS
NOTED IN THE IRAQ REPORT ELSEWHERE THIS ISSUE THE
SERBIANS HAVE FINALLY RESOLVED TO OPENLY OBSERVE WHO WAS
TRUSTWORTHY IN RECENT NEGOTIANS: DPA Belgrade - Prime Minister
Vojislav Kostunica again said that Serbia would not
discuss membership of the European Union unless Brussels
recognized Serbia and Kosovo as a single entity, local
media reported Thursday. "For us ... (it is) clear -
when it comes to any further negotiations on EU
membership it means for us only Serbia with Kosovo,"
he said in an interview with the Russia Today TV channel.
Kostunica has already frozen Serbia's already cumbersome
approach to
EU membership over the Western support of Kosovo's
independence. Serbia's breakaway province, dominantly
populated by Albanians, has declared a split
from Belgrade's sovereignty on February 17. Serbia
has withdrawn ambassadors for consultations from the 20
countries that recognized Kosovo, including the United
States and leading EU countries.
PRAGUE
POST (CZECH REPUBLIC): Markéta Hulpachová Staff Writer,
The Prague Post February 27th, 2008 issue.
A historical friendship with Serbia, a United Nations
precedent and a national memory scarred by the Munich
Agreement. These are the factors contributing to the
government's reluctance to recognize the statehood of Serbia's
autonomous region of Kosovo, which declared independence
Feb. 17. Noting the disparities in the foreign policies
of individual member states, the Council of the European
Union determined Feb. 18 that it was up to each
EU country to decide whether to recognize Kosovo's
independence - a decision revealing Europe's deep divide
on the issue.
MACEDONIA/GREECE: Scheduled talks between UN
envoy Matthew Nimetz and diplomats from Athens and Skopje
constitute a "window of opportunity" to
solve the long-running dispute that could jeopardise Macedonia
from joining NATO next month. Greece is threatening
to veto Macedonia's effort to join the military alliance
unless a solution is reached.
The name dispute between Greece and its neighbour broke
out shortly after the Former Yugoslav Republic of
Macedonia (FYROM) gained independence from Yugoslavia in
1991. Macedonia is called FYROM at the United
Nations but the United States and more than 100 countries
have recognised it as Macedonia. Greece has objected to
the name, arguing that it could imply claims on the
northern Greek province of Macedonia and could
destabilise the region.

notes of protest to Austria, Switzerland and Poland that
have recognized
Kosovo's self-proclaimed independence.Simultaneously, it

some other countries that have established diplomatic
relations with Kosovo.

for recognition as Europe's newest country The people of
Pridnestrovie (Transnistria), represented by a joint
coalition of civil society NGOs and political parties,
appealed to the international
community for a chance to be heard. They want recognition
of their country's nearly 18 years of 'de facto'

urged to not pursue a policy of double standards that
will lead to failure and increased tension in the region.

Serbia protests Kosovo steering group to UN chief 29
February 2008, 18:03 CET
(BELGRADE) - Serbia lodged a formal protest Friday with
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon about the formation of
an international steering group for Kosovo, the foreign
ministry said. The establishment of the International
Steering Group (ISG) "was made illegally, outside of
the mandate of the United Nations Security Council",
Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said in a letter to Ban.
Thursday's decision by 15 countries meeting in Vienna to
set up the group was a "completely unacceptable act
for Serbia," Jeremic told the UN chief, according to
a ministry statement received here.
UPDATE: March 18th The Albanian Hashim Thaci said:"There will be no compromise with hooligans,". This gentleman does not seem to understand that hooligans are those who destroy others homes and churches and come to terms with corrupt Governments like the UK,USA and EU. The Serbs are situated on their own internationally recognised national territory.JB /editor see example of Kosovo Albanian hooligan's below:
GRACANICA, March 17 (SRNA) - More than 1,000 Serbs from the central part of Kosovo gathered in the courtyard of Gracanica Monastery for a memorial service for the victims of violence in March 2004, which was served by Bishop Artemije of Raska and Prizren. In his homily to the faithful Bishop Artemije said that this was the four year anniversary of the terrible March 17 when an unprecedented pogrom was
carried out against the Serb people and its holy shrines.
Four years ago, the terrorist KLA demonstrated precisely how it envisions
the future of Serbs in Kosovo. Hashim Thaci, Agim Ceku, Ramush Haradinaj and
the like can make all the proclamations of democracy, tolerance and human
rights they want. By their deeds you shall know them:
an attack of Kosovo Albanian rioters on the Orthodox church of St. Apostle Andrew in Podujevo. The church was built in 1929 and was set on fire and severely damaged by explosive during March riots when Kosovo Albanian extremists with more than 60.000 people destroyed 30 Orthodox churches nd 800 Serbian homes throughout the restive province.
Czech media confirmed that Czech soldiers guarding the shrine were forced to leave the church, which was destroyed together with the cemetery. A Czech officer confirmed in The Prague Post that he was deeply shocked by the fact that the Albanians dug up the human remains of the Serbs from their graves and scattered the bones. http://grayfalcon.blogspot.com/2008/03/remember.htmlFurther the Serb National Council said"We ask UNMIK and KFOR to respect UN Security Council Resolution 1244 in its entirety and that they continue to resolve the accumulated problems in Kosovo and Metohija in cooperation with Belgrade and the Serbs. Any other solution or unilateral moves will destabilize the situation, and responsibility for such a development would fall, first of all, on those whom the Security Council entrusted with a mandate," said the Serb National Council (SNV) in a statement. The SNV most strongly condemned today's "brutal and completely unjustified behavior by UN police special forces and KFOR" as well as the use of excessive force during the arrest of employees of the Municipal and District
Courts in the north part of Kosovska Mitrovica.
Russia's ambassador to NATO accused alliance peacekeepers today of using
excessive force to remove Serbs from a court house in Kosovo "Why was disproportionate force used against women and children, who were inthe justice building?" Ambassador Dmitry Rogozin told news agency AFP at
NATO headquarters in Brussels."I would like the escalation to stop. Given that there are lot of hidden guns in Kosovo, there could be a lot of bloodshed. The blood of French
soldiers, US soldiers and Serbs will be shed. That will mean a new, serious conflict from which no way out will be
found," he said.
More than 100 people, including 63 international security force members, were hurt amid gunfire and a suspected grenade blast after they moved to regain control of the UN-run tribunal in the northern town of Kosovska
Mitrovica.
Macedonia:Albanians up to the same tricks:Macedonia's main political parties agreed Saturday (March 15th) that Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski should run a minority government until the NATO summit in Bucharest is held beginning April 2nd. With less than a month to go however, a new crisis broke out Monday as Democratic Party of Albanians members threatened a boycott. The DPA broke with the ruling coalition last week because it did not gain support for some of its proposals, including for wider use of the Albanian language and flag, and more benefits for ethnic Albanian veterans of the 2001 conflict. The DPA also wants Macedonia to recognise newly-independent Kosovo.Reports from Sibercor2000
