tHE ASYLUM OF EXTREME EXCLUSION: HOW RWANDA MANUFACTURES AND EXPORTS GENOCIDE
BY KEITH HARMON SNOW
Saturday, April 12, 2008
“Every April, Rwandans remember the 1994 genocide during a week of national mourning,” wrote Dutch journalist Thijs Bouwknegt on April 4, 2008 in an article which explores ‘genocide negationism’. “This year’s official motto is ‘Let us commemorate genocide while fighting against genocide ideology; render assistance to survivors while working for development’. The crimes of the ruling Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF), however, will be officially forgotten.”[184]

[Mr. Snow has, once again, given us the produce of his diligent, even Holmesian, investigative skills, his passionate commitment to searching out the truth of African history and transmitting it to the widest possible public. With an almost obsessive zeal for getting at the real facts, those hen's teeth so effectively lost in the miasma of sentimental lies, damned lies and statistics, that go to make up the consensus story-line on the 'dark continent', as well as the motives that propel this stuporous gaz of disinformation into the gaping maws of a desperately and delusionally conformist public, Snow is almost unique in the Anglophone canon of African reportage.

Because of France’s mixed-up imperialist role (sort of, ‘to protect and serve—oneself!) in the Pré Carré (its Francophone domain in Africa), there is a significant body of very good work in French by a list of writers too long to mention here. But I can think of few other English-language writers with Snow’s energies and dedication: Besides the important work of the Wisconsin badger, David Barouski, our own minister of defense, Me.Chris Black, another Canadian comrade, Robin Philpot, and, only occasionally outside his corpulent tome, ‘Genocide and Covert Operations in Africa, 1993-1999’, Wayne Madsen,—and, lest I forget (again!), let me also mention the valiant efforts of Phil Taylor and his The Taylor Report, and the head of the Arusha Defense Lawyers Association, Prof. Peter Erlinder, who, incidentally, just pulled my coat to a site where the mass of documents generated by the defense teams in the Rwandan trials (esp, Military I & II), docs that the ICTR and their imperialist minders are trying desperately to suppress, can be found (www.rwandadocumentsproject.net. )—all cited in Snow’s article and throughout this blog; most of the writing in English on Africa, in general, and Central Africa (i.e., Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo {Zaire}), in particular, has been done in pursuit of illicit advantage in the military/industrial/pharmaceutical/academic-careerist rodents marathon. And this Human Righteous chasing by the unspeakable after the unsupportable, now, with this vast accumulation of evidence putting the lie to yet another bourgeois historico-scientific placebo (e.g., 'it's all about the virus'; 'it's all about the Islamofascists'; 'it's all about the ethnic/tribal hate speech’; etc.), has gone from being a mere war of the geeks v the freaks on the Nightmare Alley of the popular waste-media, to a kind of mass ass-kicking contest among a group of one-legged tap-dancers more accustomed to kissing ass.

But in this article, Snow approaches, in English, the sort of work Pierre Péan and Chas Onana have been doing for a long time now in French. So, kick back, pour yourself a double cup of that new Burmese cat-dung coffee (a hundski-a-pop in London, so sip that shit!), and dig this extraordinary exposé of the foul and mendacious British (and US/Canadian) genocide hustle. Because now that most of the survivors of the Jewish Holocaust of the 30s and 40s have passed on—after being thoroughly fleeced by their stalwart financial advisers in the Holocaust Industry—the reparations business is looking for new marks to fill out the lower levels of its various pyramid schemes. And these wasters have sown plenty of treachery, violence, death and destruction in Africa for many years, going from one nation-o-cide to the next. So now, Mr. Snow’ll show you just how the old-school imperialists are reaping their coffee beans-of-wrath.
